10 Easy Gifts Under $5

gifts under 5If you’re on a budget this holiday season, fear not! There are so many great gifts that you can give your family and friends that will only cost you $5 or less.

From gag gifts to sentimental ones, I know that you’ll be able to find the perfect present among the ten ideas below.

1. Nail Polish

Women love nail polish. It’s definitely a sickness! Get us a pretty holiday color, and I promise that we’ll love it for at least a year to come!

2. An Old Movie

I love looking through the $5 movie bins at Wal-Mart. They have so many great ideas from Elvis flicks to old Disney movies. Occasionally, you can even get a recent release!

3. Fuzzy Socks

I love getting packs of socks. I will walk around the house in those obnoxious fuzzy socks all winter long. The best part is when I lose one and one foot has a hot pink sock and one foot has a lime green sock. Basically, you’ll be gifting warmth and style! šŸ˜‰

4. One Pound of Coffee

I love finding new types of coffee to try out from different parts of the world. I know that most of them are in the $10 range, but sometimes you can find smaller bags or lesser known brands for the coffee lovers in your life.

5. New Water Bottle

Okay, I know this gift might sound lame, but it’s one of those things that would be nice not to have to buy yourself. I just purchased a really nice insulated water bottle for myself, and I think it would make a great gift for someone who wants to get healthier next year!

6. Decorative Pillows

For the design lovers in your life, grab them a holiday pillow or two. Every year when they open up their decorations and add some holiday cheer to their home, they will think about you.

7. New Pet Collar

Technically this is a gift for your pet, but they are part of the family too! Pets don’t need $20 gifts. A nice, new collar or even better, a new bone, will be just what they need to keep the season bright.

8. A New Book

Everyone loves getting a new book. Purchase something funny that someone wouldn’t necessarily buy themselves. They’ll thank you for it later when they need a pick me up!

9. A Starbucks Gift Card

Everyone can find something they like at Starbucks. I just discovered that they can make a salted caramel hot chocolate. Life. Altered. You should try it sometime.

10. A Funny Coffee Cup

There are some hilarious coffee cups out there. I got my parents one each as a gag gift two years ago, and they still use them. They are so ridiculous, and they make me laugh every time I go to their house and see them. You can even create your own cup with pictures on it if you want to make it sentimental!

I’m sure there are many more gift ideas for under $5 out there, so please share yours in the comment section below!
